I was born in the Netherlands
in the year 1955 and my audio interests
began around 1970. After graduating from
Technical University (HTS) in 1977, the
majority of my career consists of being
an independent technical engineer, designing
and manufacturing sophisticated and advanced
audio equipment for the professional audio
market.
I
also developed an interest in professional
"state-of-the-art" equipment and technologies
from the 20th century from companies such
as EMT, Neumann, Nagra Kudelski, Telefunken,
Stellavox and more. My greatest personal
passion is collecting, restoring and using
professional studio turntables from EMT,
especially the "built for a lifetime" models
EMT 927 and EMT 930.
One result of this passion
is re-manufacturing of the
EMT 139st b stereo
phono tube equalizer amplifier. This
is hand-built, limited edition series for
EMT around the world.
